Wyndham Worldwide Receives 2013 Innovation Award

“Wyndham Worldwide, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, received the 2013 Innovation Award from Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) for its pro bono work in providing legal counsel to unaccompanied refugee and immigrant children in the U.S. Recognized at the 2013 KIND Gala on April 30, which was held at Jazz at Lincoln Center, this is the first time the Company received the award.

Wyndham Worldwide first started working with KIND in 2011, and since then has taken on additional cases, emerging as one of KIND’s most committed corporate partners. Working hard to move the children from a life of fear, trauma and isolation to a life full of potential, the Company’s pro bono team often joins forces with other corporate partners, and hosts trainings, helping the organization expand its network of qualified volunteers.”
