McDonald’s to Receive Pro Bono Service Award

“McDonald’s Corporation, headquartered in Oak Brook, will receive the 2013 John C. McAndrews Pro Bono Service Award from the Illinois State Bar Association at the organization’s 137th Annual Meeting on Friday, June 21, at The Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

The corporation’s law department is being honored for providing free legal assistance to over 100 clients in the past 12 months through several partnerships with nonprofit legal agencies including Ashoka, CARPLS, the Center for Disability and Elder Law, Constitutional Rights Foundation of Chicago, Equip for Equality, Legal Assistance Foundation, National Immigrant Justice Center, The Law Project, and Public Interest Law Initiative.”
