General Counsel Key In Post-Bombing Aid

“Amid the evil perpetrated against the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, James Gallagher has found the good. Gallagher, general counsel at John Hancock Financial Services Inc., was instrumental in setting up One Fund Boston to aid the victims of the April 15, 2013, attack.

The organization so far has raised $72 million, including a $1 million John Hancock donation that served as the cornerstone to the effort. He said the outpouring of support from people around the world has been overwhelming.”
